Clearing the mind and then playing each note, instrument by instrument, without contemplating or knowing which notes would be played nor which notes the previously recorded instrument would play next. No listening back to see what was played. While in this clear state of mind, forces guide the fingers to the correct notes. In this clear, quiet state of mind, a very subtle link is sewn; one worth investigating. The guitar was recorded first, and the trumpet second. A very clear example of this is the trumpet note played at 2:31. A fraction of a second after, the guitar plays the same note, which was a note that is for the most part unique from the rest of the musical context. But the guitar was recorded first. While recording the trumpet, something in me knew that note was next, and I did not know consciously. I only know that through entering this particular state of mind, I can achieve that link. This state of mind allows me to achieve this link in music, but also in life's events because life's events are musical. So the song evolves into a premonition at about 5 minutes. All events have a musical analog. As it is possible to intuit the next note played, it is possible to intuit the next event that will take place. So from 5 minutes on, the syllables and coming together of sounds, speeding up and slowing down, all correspond to the momentum and conglomeration of events to come, which I realized only as those events were happening. I noticed their rhythm and other properties were equivalent to those in the song. Through much experience, I am able to pinpoint right away. Before, I would predict, but now, I just take note as it happens because since I have discovered that my future will be okay no matter what, I now have no use for knowing it ahead of time. Now, I just appreciate the beauty of phenomena and possibilities such as these.
