Titled in loose reference to Plato's dialogue, “Meno,” in which Socrates discusses the definition of virtue. The song is an open bank for musical fragments to evolve, float, bond, separate, and re-bond in different combinations as thoughts would during a brainstorm, philosophical process, or loose/relaxed philosophical conversation. The syncopated areas of silence in the song behave like the empty pockets in the mind where logical solutions can be sensed and found during deductive reasoning. The song evolves to reflect the traditional go-go music (native style to Washington, D.C.) originated by Chuck Brown, which is a style highly hinged on and conducive to syncopation.
